From early in life I have always loved animals, both wild and domestic. As an artist, they offer me more than countless examples of nature’s diverse beauty: because they are animate creatures, I relate to them as akin to us, however different they may appear. Watching animals, observing their movements, their behavior, and their relationships, gives me a unique pleasure, both esthetic and emotional.
